Dettol, the ultimate LCD screen cleaner

This is what I found out when I try to clean the grease and water stain from the notebook LCD screen and LCD panel.

Diluted Dettol work hundred times better than most spray and alcohol base LCD cleaner.

Just dilute 1ml of Dettol to 500 ml of water. Then dampen the cloth(make sure it is not too damp until water drip) and swipe the LCD screen to moist it up. Use a dry cloth or tissue paper, GENTLY wipe the screen clean.

Don’t ask me why it works better than soap and branded LCD cleaner. It just work. I did this on LCD panel, mobile LCD screen and notebook/netbook screen. By the way, don’t lick the screen.

Disclaimer :
1. I held no responsibilities for any mishandle. If you decide to wipe your screen with 10 tons of force, I can’t stop you from doing it, just don’t blame the Dettol. :p

2. DO NOT try this on OLED screen. It is not proven YET.

Dettol

The key ingredient which defines its unique antiseptic property is an aromatic chemical compound known as chloroxylenol (C8H9ClO). This makes up 4.8% of Dettol’s total mixture, with the rest composed of pine oil, isopropanol, castor oil soap, caramel, and water. Because several of the ingredients are insoluble in water, Dettol produces a white emulsion of oil droplets when diluted during use.
